Cleaning-chemical exposure
Bleach and quat wipes are the hospital default, but many are not screen-safe: PDI states its Sani-Cloth quats are not intended for touchscreen monitors. Whatever front surface you specify has to live with those chemistries, or be cheap to replace.

Abrasion and coating wear
Repeated daily wipe-downs and glove grit haze oleophobic and anti-glare coatings. A replaceable sacrificial surface takes that wear instead of the display glass.

Antimicrobial demand, handled honestly
Antimicrobial film demand is real, but the evidence base (ISO 22196 / JIS Z 2801) measures lab log-reduction on wet coupons, not real-world benefit, and US public-health claims require EPA registration. We publish treated-article framing only, never infection-control claims.
