Choose a Material

Material choice is an operational decision: lighting, gloves, cleaning chemicals, and who can see the screen matter more than thickness marketing. Start here, then confirm the choice in a specification.

Anti-glare (matte) film

Fits when: Kiosks and terminals near windows or under bright lighting

  • Reduces glare and fingerprint visibility
  • Slightly softens sharpness
  • Thinnest option

Tempered glass

Fits when: Shared touch workflows with impact and cleaning demands

  • Best feel retention and impact spread
  • Adds thickness
  • Heavier; adhesive quality matters

Privacy film

Fits when: Payment terminals and handhelds used in public view

  • Narrows viewing angle to protect PINs and data
  • Reduces brightness
  • Usually needs higher screen brightness

Anti-microbial film

Fits when: Healthcare and food-adjacent shared devices (verify claims per deployment)

  • Treated surface
  • Coating wear varies by usage
  • Claims must be verified with the supplier
